Please? Anyone? My kids have big bootys and I have been making their crocheted pants with a longer rise, and folding the front down further and securing with drawstring. BUT(T), now I'm making a pair with an elastic waist so that is not possible and I don't want the front to be all pouchy in order for them to fit over the huge heinies. :faint

Ive never done it but I totally think you could(and might even be easier than in knit pants, cause I suck at those) Do you crochet round or flat?

I put short rows in sometimes. Usually for custom orders. It's super easy to do, a little weird to explain over the internet though. PM me if you're interested and I'll try to help you through it.

Not just doable, but easy-peasy! (Depending on the stitch, it'll more-or-less blend in... so how much OCD do YOU have about your work? ;) )

Definitely get Patti to help you; I crochet good'n'all, but she's mucho better at explainations!

Yup! Patti showed me and I'm all about the crocheted short rows!!! They are not hard to do, but are kind of tricky to explain...
