Okay DH made me start using Firefox, but everytime I try to come to this forum it crashes. I can go to the homepage, but not the forums.
Anyone know what's up? Don't tell DH but I'm using IE now.
Thanks

I'm using FireFox right now and it seems to be working well. I just switched from Safari. Maybe make sure you have the latest version?

I'm not sure. DH downloaded it today.
Are there any "special settings" I should change?
Thanks!

No clue, but I still use mozilla 1.6 b/c when I tried to upgrade and use firefox it made me crazy, things kept not working for me. Not that that is any help at all. :LOL

Hmm. No settings that I can tell. Are you using a PC? Oftentimes a PC (Windows) can get infected with all kinds of viruses and trojan programs, etc. that cause other programs to crash or restart... not much help, I'm sure, but maybe you can tell your DH and he can try re-installing it for you?
I just downloaded and installed Foxfire and I've been browsing through the site and replying to topics for a few minutes. I haven't had any problems with it so far. It takes about the same amount of time to load pages as IE, and everything seems to be rendering properly. I'll keep playing around with it today and see if I can find any performance or display issues.
(I'm using Windows XP Professional)

I use Safari or IE on the Mac and Netscape on the pc. Should I be trying this on the Mac??

Yeah it works...apparently we need to load the latest version of flash and then it worked.
FYI the error I kept getting was that the plug-ins wouldn't load and that caused firefox to crash.
thanks everyone!
oh good, I'm glad it's working
