Julia - You can see what Laura did with the yarn (she dyed and knit this: http://woolywonder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2512. The reason I don't have a pic of the yarn is that it's sold natural. Do you want a pic to see the size?

Cass - Why yes, I do custom dyeing... but I also have a great artist I can send the yarn to to get it dyed. ;)

True! So do you think I should put a pic of a skein tied like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/Nadamama/YarnforMarnie600.jpg but in natural?

I really appreciate this advice BTW! :D

Nada,

I think you should post a *natural* photo and your *dyed* skeins: I love those two colorways you dyed up.....Gorgeous!

I wish I'd had you dye some up for me....just to have....I am just beginning to realize I need to plan a bit more before making lots of random purchases....b/c all my projects seem to be taking *ounces* more than anticipated... It's my fault I'm sure....

Like the WW pants I'm making for my 24mos DS are going to use two 100gm skeins of Noro yarn and then I'm off to purchase a *blinkin'* third........

Gorgeous Yarns!

:faint

yeah, like that! :LOL

I always like to see what the yarn looks like, even if it is natural.

And BTW, how do you dye the skeins all twisted up like that?

Bwahahahahahha
Oh, Holy Sheep! That's good!

Julia I dont know if you meant to be funny, but that is hilarious. She doesn't dye it all twisted up like that! The yarn I sent you today, it's twisted. When you get it, poen it up and look at it. You will see it's in a circle. That's how you dye it.

Thank you for saying that, tho, I needed a giggle.

:sigh:

Shows what I know. :moon I've only ever done Kool Aid dyeing on regular skeins and then just rolled it up into a ball, never made a fancy yarn knot like that. :LOL But sometimes you do dye it in a twisted up thing, right, to get like a variegated solid color? :brow

Does this mean the new yarn doesn't come in a nice big center pull ball like the last one? :emb Must force my DH to wind yarn again... ;)

I usually wind into balls if already dyed but will ask if the customer wants it wound if it's sold natural. I wouldn't want to wind the ball only to have it put back into a skein to dye it, KWIM?
