Yikes!!! I have had my first run in with poop on wool - what do I do??? It's on the leg band of my Aristocrat. Right now it's soaking in cold water....

Cold water, put some wool wash on it. I rubbed mine ever so lightly to get the color better. What color is the soaker? If it's a naturalish color, maybe a wee bit of time in the sun but watching for fading....
:( I'm no expert, but my son did BF poo on my wondershorts 5 minutes after the ends were woven it. It was in a natural color and fortunately on the inside so the slight remaining stain isn't visible.

For the first time?! I wash poop out of wool at least twice a week! The lanolin is pretty good about repelling stains if you rinse right away. I just rub at it with woolwash and have never had trouble with felting or anything.

I let mine soak in soapy water & run water over it to get most of the poop off. Never had stains, but all ours are dyed!

For the first time?!
 Thats what I was thinking.
I just put the soaker under a stream of cold water from the bathroom sink and let it rinse the poop off. Then wash as normal. . .which I do in the machine :hide

I use the kitchen sprayer or the shower head to spray the poo off. :bag
