I decided to post here since I seem to have been gone for quite a while.
For those who might not know me ..I am Pamela - the 'other' pamela --- as in 'not the host of this great forum'.
I have been a member here since the beginning but sort of fell off the face of the earth the last 8 months or so.
Back in August I returned to work THis has seriously eaten into my knitting time...BUT that is about to change as thanks to school district budget cuts my job won't appear in next year's budget.....
So what does one do when she loses her job?
Well Dh and I close on a 'new' house in 15 days. I am so excited ----- nearly 3 times as much space as our current house......(which we haven't sold yet!)
I won't get much knitting done as the house needs much work. (I have some photos on my blog!)
THe other day I asked Dh if there had been a washer/dryer in the basement (laundry is on the main floor) He is so smart...he said "no, why? Do you want a utility sink so you can have a dye lab?" And yes he is putting one in for me!! The basement is unfinished and with the size of the house I see no need to ever finish it...So dye lab here I come...Hopefully once we get settled in we will get our current home sold and I will have money to buy undyed yarn!!!!
In other news my kids are now 12, 9 and 7. (The boy is my middle child).
