I have some Briggs and Little yarn that I was planning to dye and knit up some longies but I've encountered a potential problem. I picked up the two skeins at separate times (before I really understood how much yarn/project) and they are different dye lots. They are both "bleached white" but I'm wondering if they will dye differently? I didn't think it would be an issue but I just dyed a pair of pants that were made with 2 balls of Paton's classic that had different dye lots and there is a very distinct difference in colour (i.e. these pants will now only be worn around the house! :LOL ).

Anyway, would you anticipate a problem with dyeing this yarn?

I don't know if they wouldn't come out the same, but you could alternate rows if they don't. You might end up with lots of ends to weave in depending on your "pattern"- number of rows but it could look neat.

bleached white is probably safe to do differnt dye lots with, I think you'll be okay. If it were a true dyed yarn that you were overdyeing, then I'dbe concerned. But the bleched is all done exactly the same, and there really isn't much of a way for them to be tood ifferent ;)
