Is it easy? I've only used kool aid before, but want to branch out (no acid dyeing for me, thank you. I'll leave that to the pros.) I liked what I saw when someone was demo-ing the magic loop (I think it was Meredith), and she mentioned it was with Wiltons. How do you do it, and, where do you get the stuff? Thanks gals!

You can get Wiltons at Michael's, AC Moore, and even Wal-Mart has the basic colors. Look in the cake decorating section of the craft dept. You use it exactly like Kool Aid, except you have to make sure to add vinegar to the dye because it doesn't have the citric acid in it like Kool Aid does. I also add a little vinegar to the soaking water too.

It is also a bit harder to get dissolved in the water than KA is. It is a paste/gel like consistency.
Around here even w/out a coupon Michaels and Hobby Lobby are less expensive than WalMart. I actually think HL is the cheapest.
