I've finally gotten the new cart to where I want it (or, rather, where I'm finally able to say enough and walk away from making more changes, LOL!) To kick off the new cart and give everyone a bit of a boost in the wallet, I'm having a 20% off sale from yarn + patterns.

(oh, and..you might want to check out the "Sock Club" listing ;) First yarn goes out May 15th!!)

so are you being low key about the sock club on purpose?

(Perfect timing as my last sock club here will ship May 1st and I will be so happy to be done with that and move on to something I know will be great.)

Awesome!!

My wedding anniversary is May 15, so I *must* treat myself!

Oh, AND I will be going to Pittsburgh earlier in the week on May 12 to have my one-year follow-up exam from my aneurysm.

AND to top those things off, I'm helping my DH coach our youngest son's baseball team, so I simply must treat myself to something special. :)

Question...
Could I just get the one-month sock club to begin with, to see if I like it, and then if I do, add on a few more months?

I am thinking about starting with a one month myself. (After having been 'dissatisfied' with my other sock club I am a bit 'gun shy' about another...even one T. is doing. In fact I haven't even considered any other sock club.)

Sounds like you have LOTS to celebrate with yarn. I hope your one year follow-up appointment goes well.

My anniversary is the 31st of May so I guess I 'need' something too.....

Definitely all good reasons to treat yourself! (though I'm of the opinion that there's ALWAYS a good reason to treat yourself, LOL!)

You can do it however you want - start with just one month, then add on if you want (I'm pretty sure there will always be a slot open for you ;))

Awesome!!

Thanks, T.
I'll go purchase my membership now.

And thanks to you guys for the well-wishes.
I'm sure everything will turn out just fine, as my xray this past November showed no signs of other aneurysms and the repair job (ha! ha!) they did on the one I had was healed up well.

I'm not looking forward to the xray itself, though, as it's one of those ones where you get "mildly sedated" (valium is good! LOL!!) and then they inject contrast dye into the main artery of the leg and it goes into the brain to highlight stuff. I can feel it burning as it goes through, but after the valium, I really don't much care. :lol

Have a great day, everyone!
