Hey everyone - I'm doing a quick group order for Accountable Kids Chore chart systems

I need 2-4 more to get to the 20 mark to do a group order so thought I'd check with anyone here to see if anyone wanted one. The order would be placed by the end of the month and payment due by May 4th

Those are a great idea - and something I know I would use for about two days. lol I'm horrible with charts.

LOL Patti - that is the great thing about this program is it isn't the parents who have to "do" a lot - the kids do each thing and they get to flip their card over on the peg. The cards can be put in order that the parent would like things done (as kids get older of course they can do things out of order) but when they're really young a parent can put them in order and as the child flips the card over and puts it on the next peg when they've completed the task - such as brushing their hair or making their bed or whatever (depends on age and the child as to tasks) then at the end of the day the parent or even the child can take the cards off and put them back on the "to-do" peg. Because of them being flipped facing backwards there is no re-ordering/sequencing of the cards at the end of the day - they are already in order and just pull them off together and flip them around.

I saw this at a homeschool convetion. I have a mom that emailed me just last night who I've known for about 6 years now who uses them with her kids and loves them. I didn't know she used them so I was thrilled to hear from her!

Okay - here's a question: what are the rewards/consequences? I have a hard time with rewards and I think I remember it saying that if things don't get done or an attitude is poor the child loses out on something like playing playdough or a board game or whatever.

Melissa - I've asked a friend of mine who has been using this for several years now this question. She has raved about this system. I'll post as soon as I hear back from her.
