Hi All...

Can someone give me advice on how to deal with poopie stains on my cloth diapers without resorting to bleach???

What soaking solutions do you all use and do they help with stains?

Thanks

Sunlight I think is the best way to lighten stains.

I didn't use a soak for my diapers-- did my cloth diapering when oldest was a toddler for my #2 and #3....so didn't want containers of anything about...

BacOut works well on stains too.

I just never cared about the stains. I figured they were gonna get pooped in again anyways. lol

You can try lemon juice and then sunning. I'm afraid I was in the "don't care that much" camp when it came to stains.

The sun does work the best. I also have a spray bottle of lemon juice and water which really whitens them up quickly out in the sun. DOn't forget to wash after using the lemon juice and water. Oh, and vinegar and water works very well too out in th esun. all the best!

I found peroxide and sunlight work wonders. But if you use either, be sure to rinse before wearing!
That reminds me, I should lay some of mine out in the sun....
