Canadian strawberry koolaid??

I read here that Canadian strawberry was different than ours but I didn't see a picture... does anyone have one of how it looks on yarn? I cannot believe how different purple looks. It's beautiful!

I have a lot of purple and strawberry heading our way from a friend up north! :dance

We are on a never-ending quest for nice purple without resorting to acid or procion dyes. They scare me!

Thank you!! I haven't dyed entirely with US tropical punch ... is it that different from Canadian too?

My tropical punch always comes out with yellow undertones... I would say it is different.

I don't think Canada allows the red dye that is used in the US stuff which accounts for the difference. I can tell you the difference in which dyes they use - I think - I still have the packets that I can examine.
