View Full Version : opinions needed on fcc hat... how to finish brim?

I can't decide what kind of brim I want on this hat. Originally I planned for a fold up ribbing, and optional ear flaps and chin strap type tie. What are your opinons? What kind of hat do you want to make. This pattern is almost finished, except for the brim!

ca-yooot. i personally wouldn't add a fold-up brim to it at this point. i like it how it is. the optional ear flaps are nice, though.

I think it looks kindof 'Russian'? perhaps you should just embrace that and finish it according....I'm not even sure what the brims of Russian hats look like but I love dressing my children with unique crafty items!!

You want me to do an earflap option? Any special requests? I'm thinking earflaps with ties that tie under the chin?
