I have FINALLY waded through all my orders, most are shipping tomorrow, some Monday, and have added the custom dyed yarns back to the store. DH left this AM for Houston, then off to Nigeria, so it's back to business as usual ;)

I hope you dont mind me asking, but what does he do?
I had a friend whose hubby worked for the army and worked for some science place where he traveled all over the world setting up lab's for people, he traveled a LOT.
I never did find out what company he worked for.

My FIL and now BIL (is that what you call your SIL's husband) work for the military in secret, can't tell you what I do at work jobs. I think that would drive me nuts. The not knowing. And since they work on computers, that would probably drive me nuts too!
to get back on topic: I want some natural merino! Yay!

Well....in order of softest to "not softest"
2 ply merino
Lopi Merino
Eco wool
3 ply merino Blend(this will move up the list in softness when I get my next order as it will be 90% merino instead of just 70%)
2 ply bartlett
3 ply bartlett
I"m doing away with fisherman's I HATE HATE HATE winding that junk into a hank before dyeing it, it's not worth it.
Oh and I don't know where the merino mohair will fit in, as far as softness...I'd guess b/t the 2 ply and Lopi ;)

IMO fisherman's sucks for winding and dyeing, I HATE that crap. I have to wash it just to get it wet enough to dye, for all the work I do on it I should be charging twice what I am for it.

Yeah I know how that is, I wind and dye all my own and its a pain, but I actually love to knit with it so I guess its worth it, ohh well Ill stick to dyeing my own yarn until i can afford some eco, hehehe
