A friend had some crocheted pants made for her DS but the rise and inseam are too long. Can any of you experienced crocheters tell me how easy it would be to take some of the rise and length out? Can you frog them like you would a pair of knitted pants?

As far as I know it's easier with crochet than with knitting. Just snip and pull! :devil

It's super easy to frog crochet. If you need to adjust the rise though, you'll most likely need to frog both legs. :faint

I think if you went from the top, you'd have to untie each little knot??? I undid a little chain tail off an oak leaf the other day and that's how it seemed on that project, I was using a blunt weaving needle.

Basically, hmmm.....let me know what you find out!

She could frog from the top & the bottom. Frog from the waistband until her rise is correct & then frog each leg from the bottom until her length is correct, no?

If the person who made them started at the top, it'll be hard to frog that way...could get frustrating. Especially since wool sticks to itself...could end up making knots.

um.. could she just fold the waistband down and the legs up?? THen they would fit longer wouldn't they??

Warm Squishy Feelings..

They are more than 6 inches off - that would be a lot of folding.
