Okay when Jess had a sale a while back I got 5 skeins of Bartlett's 2 ply. I have every intention of knitting for myself. The org. plan was for a sweater that I dyed the wool for.

I love the smell of the natural wool and now am thinking I won't dye it.....

What do you think I should make with it? Pattern ideas? (I like free but inexpensive pattern would be okay too.)

Poncho - they're totally in, you can nurse under them (not sure if that's a feature you need right now or not, lol) and they knit up fast!!!!

I'm making a random cable poncho for myself right now. Join in!

Katie-
Are you using a published pattern or just making up your own as you go?

I don't do much nursing out and about...babybiggirl will be 3 in January - though she does like "nursies" first thing in the morning.

I am modifying a free pattern It's the colorwaves one at lionbrand.com I just CO enough for 15" in width. On one side, the cables are positioned along each edge, on the other side, there will be one cable running down the center. It will be a bit of an artsy look.

LION BRAND® COLOR WAVES:Knit Scarf Ponchette (I can't get the actual url for some reason)

Speaking of which I gotta get your pics up! Totally forgot! Sorry!!! Emma is cutting a tooth & was so grouchy that DH stayed home from work yesterday to help out. Off to play in the beads....

Yeah! A poncho! I'm doing the one from Yarn Harlot next. I can't wait until my yarn is here. It will be nice to have something for myself :)
