Does anyone have one of these? I just bought a cheaper version this afternoon. I HATE knitting I cords, but I want to start using them for embellishing (plus I am making my sister the Booga bag for her BD and it calls for like 5 feet of I cord  ) so I bought one.
I hope it is the best thing since sliced bread.

:) Yes, I have one. It only works for yarn thinner than worsted weight. I don't use it. :knit

I hope it is the best thing since sliced bread. I made that booga bag and I think the i-cord took me longer than the rest of the bag! Oy. :crud:

See... that is why I have been refusing to do it! I hope I can use the Noro in there.... I don't see why I couldn't.

It takes a little finesse to get that icord machine going. The thicker yarns are not going to work. You can always get a lightweigt yarn in a matching or cc to make your icord with the machine. :brow

Knitting knobbies work with thicker yarns ;) I just added them to my store, and kept one for myself, I think making I cords has to be THE most boring knitting I've done

I like making I cords. I think it is because it doesn't take long to see progress. :bag

I got it today. It is pretty cool. I tried it a few times, and finally got it right. But you can't use anything over 3 ply in it.
