ds has been walking for three weeks now and I measured him again yesterday cause the wonderpants I am making him look mighty huge....pretty sure I'm gonna have to frog them. I was making them big so they'll fit next winter, but at this rate - looks like they'll never fit him. *sigh*

Anyone here with fat babies will know what I'm about to talk about...all you others will just laugh...you know those extra butt cheeks? The two that hang below the chubby baby's actual butt cheeks? Well, ds's phantom cheeks are just about gone. At this rate, he'll look like dh and have no butt...seems to be a common trait among the men in his family. Also, his thighs have shrunk a whole 1/2". This is all so weird for me cause dd still has those extra cheeks and baby fat all over.

Anywho, you're all wondering why this is in the swap-a-rama forum, aren't you? :chin It's so I can let the momma making pants for ds for the pants swap know that if she hasn't started yet - don't make em so big. lol

New measurements for ds:

Waist = 20",
thigh = 12 1/2",
rise = 18 1/2",
inseam = 8",
hips = 24"

hahaha! the same thing happened to maya. she was seriously a chubby baby - but then she remained 20 pounds from the time she was 6 months until she was 15 months old... she's wearing last year's winter clothes and lots of them are too big!

Yeah, I'm wondering if I should go through all the size 12 months stuff he wore last winter when he was 3 months old and see if it will fit him this winter. lol

We had a well-baby check today and I'm pretty sure Peter has either remained steady or lost a pound in the past month. After shooting up to 19 lbs by 4 months, it seems as though he's going to stay between 21 and 22 lbs indefinitely now that he's crawling.

Finally, I get to use some diapers for a few months!
