Hi,
I'm absolutely going crazy trying ot find a really easy pattern for baby booties!! I've Googled and Googled, my siatica is acting up something feirce, i"m sitting here with my darn heating pad.... :violin Does anyone know of a really easy bootie pattern out there for free???

I had some extra wool yarn left over from a yarn cake sent to me and have made a soaker and an adjustable newborn hat as well, I should have just enough to make a pair of booties to complete the "little ensemble".

I appreciate any help!!

TIA!!! :pink

Ty, I seen those, except I'm having a problem with some of the decreases for some strange reason..I mean, I can do them, its just all too confusing mostly for the ribbing and all that, alternating I get confused, I guess I'm so used to circular knitting. There's gotta be something??

There's no picture but these look super easy ...at least it is garter stitch and minimal decreasing.

Here's hoping that baby shifts so the siatica gets better. It brings phantom pain to my hip just reading about it. (I had it really bad with my first - and I was working ft outside the home. It was one of the Bio profs who dx it for me!) It must really challenging with our other children!!

There are quite a few here.

I did a crochet version of this pattern in a pale pink Baby Teri yarn, didn't make the cuff so tall so they look more slipper than a bootie when sewn together. They are cute and we get a lot of compliments on them. (They don't stay on well...see reason below.)

I haven't made these but a friend did and she said they were really cute.

No picture but these turn out really cute, I stop at the last bit of ribbing. They look a bit like baby socks this way.

I've knit/crocheted several different booties lately, usually single booties because I don't like something about them. :)
I don't like the typical bootie, would much prefer a slipper looking baby shoe but they slip off Caroline's narrow little feet, guess I just need to get over it and make something that will stay on her feet!!!

Hope the sciatica pain eases up soon....that hurts so much!!!

Ty, Karen!! I started last night on the pattern from Pam and I realized maybe I could do it in stockingette stitch? so, I started that, anyways, maybe I could just send one of you the rest of my yarn and hope for the best? :lol

The siatica is a lot better today, just mostly the lower leg is a little sore from yesterday. TY again!
