I was thinking of knitting a soaker and then kettle dyeing it with two different colors. Would that work? Would the color absorb enough when the item is knitted?

Yeah, you can do that. I did it with crocheted balls. I don't have much patience to work up something bigger w/ undyed wool. My eyes need to be entertained w/ color when I knit/crochet. lol

Oh, I hear you about that, for sure. But the idea I have for dyeing and embellishing them might spur me on just enough to finish. :sunshine
