Okay, my stuff isn't all put into the closet yet...but here are my various totes. (NOTE: this doesn't include any of my wool/acrylic yarns or acrylics)

These are yarns awaiting projects and my mohair for which I have no plans

I agree! Nice stash, Pam. I recently put mine in a glass door'ed double bookcase. I don't know if I could show a pic, I'm much too embarrassed about the amount of it all. I've never sold any of my stash. I think I need to prune a bit.

That's b/c sock yarn takes up less space....

I think this was a shock for me b/c I didn't realize how much yarn I actually had. (And when I moved yarn from my hope chest I found some stuff I had completely forgotten about)

I think you might actually have a bigger stash than me, and I didn't think that was possible. Well, personal stash anyway - we won't get into the biz yarn I've got here :LOL It'll all be dyed and sold, eventually :LOL

Thanks for making me feel better :shake .....And part of my stash is YOUR FAULT. I bought peace fleece to make the 'swing thing' - I have knit one - and have LOTS Of yarn leftover.(Of course that beats the heck out of running out of yarn on a project)

I am thinking I need to get into the biz--just haven't figured out how/when/where.

wow, now my stash seems so much more normal! I don't remember if I posted this here when I organized it all (I've rearranged to put them all in bags and the bins now, this was just my getting organized so I could get it all into proper storage)
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c316/angela_myers/yarn/room/DSC01278a.jpg
duplicates and matching trim are in back. undyed and "scraps" are in the bin at the top. Yarn from a swap to make a sweater for me is on top of the bins. I also have an entire box of wool ease that I bought to make an afghan, and some boucle (ICK! I should get rid of that stuff. . .) that I got to make a sweater then started a blanket and have left sitting for years.
I have closeups of all the compartments, but don't want to hog bandwidth so here is just the sock yarn:

Here's mine! :D I don't have too much anymore. I sold and donated a lot of yarn during the last stash game and then again a few months ago. I wanted to get rid of everything I knew I would never really use.
It was good I did these picts 'cuz I found a skein of Zen String sock yarn that I had totally forgotten about... it was buried!!
I also have some dishcloth cotton but didn't take picts of that.

On the right is all my wool! :) The mess on the left is Debbie Bliss yarn.

:LOL Yes, I have strange ideas that maybe one day I could unravel them and use them for something?!? I don't know what. Maybe a small toy. Seam them together and make bean bags? Or seam them together and make a really colorful blanket? :nut

Gauge swatches and I have called a truce. We used to hate each other. At first I knit them really small. Then I stopped knitting them because they aggravated me to no end. Had lots of measuring mishaps. So we called a truce and now I usually knit them 4"x4". We get along just fine now.
