Know of any good ones out there? I thought I'd make something for myself for a change!
I've used a few patterns to make novelty scarves from here: http://www.straw.com/cpy/free_patterns.html
It's the Crystal Palace novelty yarn line. The merino frappe and splash is soooooo soft and luscious.

i've got a cute slotted scarf/bowtie scarf pattern in my freebies section. I did on for my mom from polar yarn and she loved it, so squishy and comfy!!

I love the Multi-Directional Scarf Pattern. Here's a picture of what it looks like:
