a friend showed me that picture and wants it for her DD. Im not experienced with pink since Ive only knitted for boys.

I like to use only kool aid, so any tips or flavors that would work out to be around that?

I dyed a playsilk with pink lemonade and it was close to that shade of pink. You'd probably want to use a several packets, though. I'm no expert but if i were attempting that deeper color I'd mix grape and black cherry with a little of the pink.

That's pretty! I need to make some pink. What flavors did you end up using?

I was gonna suggest using black cherry over your darker spots to try to get closer to the pic.

Ok, I used Pink Lemonade, Watermelon strawberry(or is it cherry?), Strawberry lemonade, Black Cherry, and Strawberry.

The first 3 were around the same color pink, and the last 2 were for the darker parts. Hopefully she will like it

I like the color! I just bought some cherry kool-aid cause they did'nt have black cherry, and I do mean I bought some--probably close to 30 packs! I just started knitting a pair of longies for my 2 year old and I'm going for an Autumny reddish color. Cool colors!!!
