Hi,
I dye with onion skins all the time. It was actually my sixth grade science experiment. My dad had usued onions to dye easter eggs for ages. It works really well!
The best and easiest colrs are a medium purpley blue from red onions, and a deep orangy-brown from yellow onions. You should try it!

We used onion skins for easter eggs too :pink Has anyone ever used a pomegranate for dyeing? If I can ever get to go to the grocery store I'm gonna get a couple.
