Pants swap question

Is there a date when we mail our pants out? (I know there is a cut off, but I wasn't sure if we are supposed to all swap at the same time...) Or can we do it when we finish? I am not sure on the ettiquete for swaps as this is my first! I just cast on tonight. I am nervous - this is my first time knitting for another knitter! *gasp*

I was wondering about this as well. I just finished my tonight (DS is teething so he was driving me batty with wanting to be held, then 2 seconds later wanting down, then I had just enough time to knit one row and he wanted to be held again. :crazy ).

How do we find out where to mail them to? Do we all wait until a certain date to ship them? I still have a few finishing touches, but the actual pants part is done. I just have a hard time holding onto stuff, I want to give it asap, I am bad about buying presents early. I have to put them in the back of my closet so I don't give them too early. ;)

Has everyone posted all their current measurements in the other thread? I haven't seen that one in awhile. I'd also like to know if we're all supposed to mail them out at the same time, or wait to closer to the Thanksgiving time?

I know that we were looking at Tgiving as the deadline, and maybe we all want to hold on to ours until then? But then, I am up for anything really.... but then I would feel guilty having mine now, and my swapees don't get theirs until ... oh... Thanksgiving.

I agree with Meredith. I have a hundred things to do in the next couple of weeks. I think we should all try and mail them out in a 1-3 day period if possible. Like, the 20th-23rd they should be mailed... Except, I think that may be a weekend, but that's my 2cents. :D

I'll get all the addresses together when it's time to send them out. Let say we'll all try to send them at the same time. How does November 15-17th sound? That way we'll hopefully get them all before Thanksgiving and our kids can wear them to show them off to our families? :brow
