That's what I get for posting when the kids are awake...lol...

Anyway, what I do is things like desktop publishing (brochures, flyers, newsletters, gift certificates, coupons...if you can print it I can generally design it)...I've also done websites and logos...and business and marketing plans...and press releases and advertising articles...

Pretty much the go-to gal for small home business - a place where owners can delegate some of their business tasks so they can concentrate on business...

Well, we have tons of wahms posting here. I think a discount for your services or something like that? Free consultation? $5 off logo design? Any ohter ideas?

I can offer 10% off my services --my consultations are always free so that won't work...10% sounds reasonable to me...but I think I'll have to make it only apply to cash agreements and not barter ones...does that sound fair to you?

It's just that in barter agreements they already get a real deal because I trade my time for their retail prices which cost so much less to them...though I do understand time is a factor and I don't want to take away from that...But if an item costs $10 to create and retails for $50 then they are realistically getting $50 of services for $10...kwim?

(Sorry I didn't get back earlier...my part time job as a playschool teacher always ends up taking all day even though it's only supposed to take 4 hours)...

Great...now will there be a membership list or a # that members are given to quote so that donators can verify membership?

I think we'll have each donator give us a coupon code and that code will be distributed to each supporting member. I'll also have a password protected list of members that each business can access to verify.
