I don't. Wish I had that gift. I have an idea for my dd's room someday but just don't have the artistic ability....I want to do a woodland fairie scene (And not those stupid look like ballerina with wings fairies) Wish you were closer as I bet you could do it for me! :D

No :( ILs are in Louisville, KY now. I'll ask mom if she knows anyone there that can paint, though. She may know someone. Can you do any kind of painting? Even if it's "coloring book" painting? You can get a projector for $20 (not a nice one of course, but works none the less) and project what it is you're wanting to paint onto the wall. Then you would just have to lightly trace it and paint it in. I've done this when I didn't want to take the time to draw something out myself...just project a pic from a book, magazine, whatever. If you did hire someone, alot of artists would probably be willing to just do the details for you if you already had it basecoated. That would save you tons of money! Just some thoughts.

I can fill in the blanks and do base stuff for sure. Actually my mother is quite talented but I don't think I should invite her to visit to help paint. She is in Iowa.

Hey, Pam. My MIL suggested contacting places like Michaels that offer decorative painting classes. You can see examples of the teachers' work and if you are interested you can request to contact the teacher. Or you can just leave a note for the teacher. She said that would be the most economical way to go about it probably. Unless you found an art student to help.
