I cannot for the life of me start this project!!!! :bang

I hate, hate, hate knitting on double points, so I want to make the fingers/thumb on two circs, but I can't figure out how to start them. HELP!!!!

Yeah. I've done it on the tops of hats and stuff, but I just can't remember how to get it started. My brain is having excessive-Christmas-knitting-overload issues. :lol
