I'm wanting to order some from a local yarn store-ish. If I order a bag of 5, then I get 25%off of the MSRP, which is like $14/skein. I'd like to get more than one colorway. I am just checking to see if anyone here wants to get some with me. There wouldn't be a shipping charge to me, only to you. I think the price would be $10.50/skein plus ship to you. ANyway, email me swan542 @ sbcglobal.net or pm if interested.

hmmmmm, might be :brow

can you mix colorways in the bag, or is the bag only one colorway per?

One colorway per bag. That is why I'm wanting someone or two to order with me. If we all wanted a skein or two of the same few colors... if that makes sense. I'm tired.

Which colors are you looking at? This years or last years colors? I like several of the colorways...

I like this years, I think. Last years if they have them when the woman calls to order. http://www.ericas.com/yarn/outbackwool.htm
Here, I like the sage/brown, sage/gray, teal/black, gold/blue. I like a lot of them. As long as they aren't super duper girly. Although a friend is wanting to order, too, and she has 2 dd's.

I love the teal/black, purple/black, purple, and sage/grey

I actually have one skein of the sage/grey; it's so pretty

K. Those all sound doable. Just depends on what anyone else wants. These have to be ordered in groups of 5.

I am interested! I have the sage/grey and purple already, so I would be down to try others. I am interested in maybe 2 gold and blue and 2 purple and black? I LOVE the sage and brown, but I have nobody that could wear that.

LMK!

i'm interested. i like the purple/black and sage/grey best, but i'd also likely do purple, sage/brown.

So, definitely one of the sage combos, and the purple/black, right?

I'd take 1 purple/black and 2-3 of the sage/brown or sage/gray. I like both of them.
Any other colorways a lot of you are interested in??

Is one skein enough to make a pair of pants (374 yards sounds like a lot!)? :chin

If you go to the gallery, the pants and hat set I made is the sage brown :D If you search a little further back, the sweater I made my dd is sage and grey.

yeah, how many skeins for pants? i could do the purple :pink

The skeins are 250grams, so I think that's about 7.5 oz. You "should" be able to get a pair of pants from one skein....I made my dd's sweater from one, it's about a 2T.

I think it might depend on how big you are going. I used the Outback for a pair of shorts in a size large and I think I would only have enough yarn left to do capri length.

I'll take 2 sage/gray if you need someone else to order. I've never used this before. Can someone tell me what it's like? Thanks.

That's why I said "should" b/c I don't use patterns

It's really soft and I love working with it. It makes a nice fabric, soft and squishy. Not thick or bulky though. They are big hanks, too. 374yds each. I could almost get a lg pair of WonderPants from one hank, but I am not sure how close it would have been b/c I used the second one for the second leg with the magic loop. But you could definitely get a small or maybe med. pair of pants from one hank.

Okay, Julia, you said purple. Is purlple/black okay?

So, Laura 2 blue/gold and 2 purple/black
drea 2 sage/gray
davina 2 sage/gray, 1 blue/gold
tami 1 purple/black

anyone else for sure yet? I'm trying to get organized here. Not my strongpoint. LOL

Davina,
I will take 2 skeins (each a different colorway). Just plug me in where you need me to get the minimums. The only colorways I do NOT want are multibrite and purple. Thanks!

Sure, I guess - I am on the fence about whether to get 1 or 2 though :chin

Well, what are you planning on making with it? I *think* anything up to a normal, med pants could be done with 1 hank. But anything bigger, or if you want a hat or booties or something to match, you should get 2. IMO you won't be disappointed with this yarn. I always wish I had more of it.

What about the kaleidascope colorway?? Any interest there? Here is a soaker I knit with it.

Okay. I guess it will be the sage/gray, the purple/black and the blue/gold. If anyone wants one of the blue/gold or the purple/black it's available. I'm just taking extra to fill it.
So, I'll call tomorrow or Sunday to place this order. You can send paypal sometime this coming week.
Thanks.

Sorry, Marnie. Guess I missed that somehow. You want one of each? I put you down. I just dropped mine. My bad.
