Oh my word! How cool! I know an MDC mama who lives in Smyrna - Dina (not exactly sure of her MDC name - but her name is Dina) - she owns No Pins 4 Baby! :)

There's also another MDC mama who crochets - SpiralWoman - who lives really close to me. We should all get together and have a yarn-fest! :)

That would be great. I would love to get together with ya'll. I really need to get to know others. I do not know anyone in Smyrna. I go to church in Murfreesboro, but I have the only baby.

Hey! Were you on Talk of the Town a couple of months ago? I remember seeing Dina and thought there was someone named Mia also. As you can tell I recorded it and have shown it to my family who think I am Nuts for CD.

Do you live in Smyrna/Murfreesboro area also? If so Needlework Plus in Murfreesboro is going out of business and everything is 35% off except magazines. I am trying to stock up on needles and wool.

Hi Tricia - yep, that was me on Talk of the Town! :)
I actually live in Nashville, but we have a "Cloth Diapering Playgroup" that tries to get together at least once a month, and we are from all over the Middle Tn area - Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Antioch, Nashville, etc. Dina actually has a Yahoo Group where we keep in touch. I'll PM you the address if you want! :)

Hmmm - 35% off is awesome - I may have to make a trip down to the Boro to stock up!

We should definitely plan a get-together. What is your schedule like? I'm sure Maria would like to get together with her crochet too - I'm going to tell her about the sale too!

I am a nurse working PRN (one day a month :brow ). I am free most days except Tuesdays and Sundays. Mornings are better for me so DH can watch the baby. I am a member of the play group but very shy around new people so have not joined in.

Tricia - you should come to the next CD playgroup - I *think* Maria is hosting one sometime early October. We usually have playgroup in the AM, like around 10. I won't be able to make this one unfortunately. I recently had to go back to work (*sigh*), and while I will eventually be on an afternoon/evening shift (I'm doing internet support at Comcast), right now I am working days.

Anyway, everyone in Dina's group is super super nice, so don't be shy! :)
Once I start working my afternoon shift we can plan a get-together one morning! Actually one of the plus sides of me working is that I have much more time to knit at work than I ever do at home! LOL
