I hear people talking about the addi turbos so much, I finally decided to invest in a pair, but then I saw the addi bamboo and had to order those, too. Has anyone tried them? I will let you all know what I think when I get them, but I'm dying to hear about them...

hope they're better than the crystal palace ones I have. They just came apart for the second time. I glued the wood part back in a second time. Ughhh

Well, that bites. I have a pair of cp circs, but they're some kind of wood, not bamboo. I have only used them a little bit, and I didn't really like the way they joined (the cord to the wood). I really like my clover bamboo circs and they're pretty cheap. I hope the addis don't ruin them for me.

I got a pair of bamboo addis when I was desperate to start a project and my LYS was out of the turbos. I'm normally not much of a wood needle fan, but these were great. I'd still choose turbos first, but I'd take their bamboos over metal from another company.

I have some and I love them! :pink I have never tried the Turbo's and I am not sure I need to. I am very happy with my Addi bamboo needles. :knit

Where's the cheapest place online to get the Addi turbos? My LYS sells them at $14 a pop!

I paid probably a hair more than that once shipping is factored in. So I don't know...

Well, these rock!!! Especially if you're doing magic loop. The cord is much more pliable than the cord on my clovers or my crystal palace circs, which makes it much easier. Thr needles themselves aren't very, if at all different from the clovers, but they are nice. I'm really digging them and I definately like them better than the turbos.

That price is nuts - even with shipping from the UK these http://www.yarn-shop.co.uk/knitting/addicirc.php should still be cheaper for you!

So, is that under $7 for most of those needles? Wish I could see what shipping would be. Thanks for the link.
Also, 438yds of 4ply angora for $27? Wow!! That doesn't seem too bad at all.

I checked, shipping is #2.7, so about $12 a pop. But if you buy 5-6 sets of needles, shipping is only #3.1, so averages $8-9 a set.

yeah... that is a pretty good deal, if only I had $50 to spend on needles right now. :LOL
