Does anyone have any ideas for a storage device for circulars? I've seen the holders where you kind of slide the circulars through a tunnel and the ends hang out, but I don't think thats what I'm looking for.

What do you think??

I have a Worm Binder from Bass Pro Shops... I love it. :D I don't love the big ugly fish...

I use robeez shoe bags, not the easiest way to find one in a hurry though.

There is a pattern in the first Stitch and Bitch book for a circular needle holder that hangs on a hanger. I haven't personally tried it but it looks like they would be easy to keep organized that way.

That's actually the kind I'm trying to avoid. I looked at the Bass Pro Shop one and I think that's kind of what I'm looking for.

Thanks

The worm binder looks like a CD storage case--maybe get one of those?

I'm not the OP but I had thought the same thing. The problem (for me anyway) was that the cd cases the slots where you put the cds are open (mostly) on one side. I wanted something taht I could put my multiple needles into. Ex: all my 7s (which I have like 4) in one pocket that closes. Plus I liked that I could get more bags and fill as I needed.

I have since bought the KP set w/its own binder. I had thought of combining the two, but since my WB is so full it really doesn't have much room for the KP set.. :D

i started toying with a pattern for circ storage a while back. the direction i was going in was something that was about the size of a school folder, but had a travel version attached. that way you could just take the travel case, put the needles you'll need in it and go without having the bigger case in your bag. in my drawings i had the different compartments labelled with the number that cooresponded to the size.

anyway...just an idea you could run with if you want to make your own.

I am boring and just keep them in their matching packets so I can track them down quickly (although they do slot nicely into my fab new Lexie Barnes knitting bag!lol :) ).

I think this one looks cool for travel storage...

But as for at home... Hmm..

I tried making one once for straight needles out of brocade and velour. Whoops! It was a disaster. I have such bad vision that I couldn't see if I was sewing straight on black velour.

I've been eyeing them since Jessica spammed them on another board. Waiting until 10/15... hoping she will still have a custom slot then.

I think she has a custom slot up now...I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure! I bet she'd make you one if you contacted her! She is really cool :)
