a pattern for infant cargo pants? I can't seem to find one anywhere, free or not, I really really want to make my daughter some colorful cargo pants for christmas season........ I just need one pattern..........

The Wooly Wonder Pants are cargo pants! There are pics in the gallery :) Or do you mean a sewing pattern?

This is done buy knitting the pants first, then knitting the pockets separately and attaching them, usually.

Here is a pair of WonderPants that I just finished. I modified the pattern by using a crocheted apple for the pocket instead of a square pocket. They have wider legs than typical knit soaker pants and if you click on the link under the pictures, you can see them on my son before pockets.

It's a great pattern, are you looking to knit them or have them made?

I was looking to knit them myself so i didn't want any fancy stitches or anything as I am a beginner still.......... i went and bought a circ needle so that i could go ahead and try to make a pair, but darned if I'm not having a hard time finding a pattern.......... LOL

I would say the wonderpant are the way to go. There is soooooo much support here. And not a lot of fancy stitchwork involved.

There is currently a pants class going on....just starting really....Lots of step by step help and others at variouls levels of knitting ability asking questions. (And I don't get paid to make these endorsements.)
