has anyone else ever worn the points down on their needles just doing one project? i'm just wondering cause one of my needles points is worn down already and i'm still working on my beginners project....... did i just buy cheap needles? or do they all do that?

My bamboo needles do that over time--NOT on one project though! What kind are they?

If your needles are wood, such as bamboo, or rosewood, you can take a very fine grain emery board and smooth it out. If it is just a little snag, I usually rub a little beeswax on it and then use a chamois cloth to buff it really well. You need to make sure you buff all the wax off though, so it doesn't get on your yarn. I wax and buff all my bamboo needles and it really speeds me up.
