"Button" letters -- knucks gallery?

I was checking out the gallery and see there's a pair with buttons (?) instead of embroidery... "rock star"? I was wondering if you could share the source on these? Embroidery's not my strong suit and I'm digging those buttons...

Yes, I got them in the craft store on clearance -- I think it was Michael's. It was a bracelet kit for little girls. :D

You know, the embroidery is not as hard as you might think. Chain stitch is pretty straightforward.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm ordering some felted tweed today, maybe will get lucky and find buttons (or get over the embroidery fear!)... but I *need* a pair of these when it gets cool enough to wear them :)

i tried the chain stitch and i sucked it hard. alternative methods is the way to go, i tell ya. ;)
