A dear friend is having a baby in October. I've just knit an earflap hat for the babe (October in Vermont - the kid will need hats). I want to put something on the top and I'm a little against the big pom-pon top look. I've seen hats where there is this little braided line and then a sort of smallish tassel bit on the top. Know what I"m talking about?
How would I go about adding one of those to the top? I think the part that confuses me the most is how to attach it. HOnestly, this shouldn't be rocket science...
