Ok, I know everyone else will look now, because I put Amy's name in the subject. ha! This is a concept. Tell me if you like it. Counts 99 rows - you'll have to remember the last one (or write it down :af)
It's on memory wire - so you can hook it around your wrist, bag, etc. The bigger, "asian" beads are 10 row beads, the e beads are single rows. I don't have the elasticized thread for the middle thingy yet, and I need some jump rings to reattach the end dangles. (because now they don't so much dangle as stick out at odd angles)
What do you think? I will pick up some other stringing medium when I go to the store. I thought it would be fun to play around with the memory wire, though.
Pic going up as soon as I can get the stupid page to load.

I think I'll make some of these up for the swap, too. Seems like everyone likes them or at least the people who don't like them haven't posted anything! ha!

Ok, here we go with jump rings and the stretchy loop to keep the beads on the correct side. What do ya think?

I'm not the right Amy, but I think that's really pretty (and so useful!)

Thanks! I keep wanting to add more beads, but that might cut down on it's usefulness! Ha!

I love it. Sign me up for one, where an I order? All the ones I've made suck big time, I can NOT get the memory wire to look that good, LOL!
Any interest in trading yarn for one with amber/orange beads? :)

$12, ppd. What colors do you want?
I can summarize: Those are my asian beads w/ turquoise and blue accents. I have blue, foil wrapped beads (see a row counter in the swap) i have primary triangle beads and matching primary seed beads. Green with green accents and celtic dangles (see swap celtic stitch markers) Black mettalic with your choice of accents. Larger purple beads with your choice of accent colors.
Should I just take a picture of my beads and post?

Now for a stupid question...you can wear these on your wrist, right? I don't suppose you'd model for me? Purty please?
Hugs,
tammy

Here's the top of my wrist where the wires cross. Not much to see here, except the end dangles. You can put the cross where ever you want on your wrist. In this photo all the beads are at the bottom of the bracelet.

Here's a pic of the flip side of my wrist: http://img21.exs.cx/img21/9621/WristBottom.jpg
The Larger beads are the 10-row beads. The smaller beads are the single row beads. In the middle is an elasticized bead band. You move the single row beads from the right side of the bead band to the left as you complete the rows. When you've completed 10 rows, you move all the single row beads to the right hand side and a single 10-row bead past the bead band. THen you continue moving single row beads until you hit 20. The bead band keeps the beads from bunching up again, so you can keep track of where you are!

That is so darn cute! I love your work, I will have to beg my DH for something for.... Halloween. Yeah! That's it! We will start a tradition where we buy presents for each other for Halloween. ;)

There's nothing like exchanging presents for Halloween, I always say! :D

exchanging? I usually buy myself something, wrap it and give it to myself. Are me suppose to do that? *wink*

My mom always does that for my Dad! He's great but kinda clueless when it comes to clothes, which is what she always wants! Ha! (Halloween is the perfect time of the year to buy knitting tools for your dh to give to you!)

Rock on mama :) I love memory wire, actually! I have made bracelets with it a lot and I think it is great! :) I made a row counter bracelet with leatherette cord and was thinking of trying the memory wire but hadn't tried it yet. Very cool :)
