Any WW moms in/around Asheville?

I will be travelling over the weekend and spending Friday night at a hotel in Asheville. Just wondering if any of the WW mamas are in the area.

Yeppers! I live about 45 min to an hour away. Asheville is loverly! In my previous "before mommy life", I would have to take up residence there for 3 - 4 months out of the year due to my job.

Oh, a WW mama is gonna be so close!

What are you going to be here for? What is your schedule like? I know a LYS in a neighboring town where the people are sooooooo nice!

I am heading to South Carolina and it is just a good halfway point to stop at. My hotel is right at the I-40/26 interchange and I usually eat at the Cracker Barrell there. I'm not exactly firm on my schedule yet, I'm not in a huge rush. I figured I would head out around J's naptime and hope to make it to Asheville by late afternoon/early evening. Let me know what your schedule is like and we will work something out.

Clairmony, where do you live (if you don't mind me asking)? I grew up in Hickory, and my grandmother still lives there. Just curious where a LYS might be the next time I'm home...:)

No problem, we live in South Carolina in the Greenville area. The LYS is Yarns and to Dye For and it is in Hendersonville. I have also heard of at least one nice one in Asheville. The people that run the one in Hendersonville are just super friendly!

I know exactly where you are talking about. We pass through & stop at that Cracker Barrell or Outback on our way to TN. We will be doing that in just a few weeks. I need to put a mama call out for all of the stops that we will be doing in TN and AL over that week/week & a half.

We are totally flexible. We are going to the zoo that morning, but will be home shortly after noon. This will give the boys plenty of time to get rested up.

I'm heading to Sumter, SC. I actually thought about staying in the hotel in Hendersonville but it was $10 more and I love the Cracker Barrell in Asheville. I know there are a couple of yarn stores in the Asheville/Black Mountain area but I have always stopped too late to go. Maybe I will check and see if I can get a hotel in H-ville after all.

If you are going to the zoo in the morning then I will wait to head out until ds2's naptime. Hopefully that way he will sleep most of the way. If I get out on time I plan to be to Asheville by 3ish.
