My hubby got a bonus check today. I was going to go and buy a "Denise" needles (http://www.knitdenise.com/) and then go buy and addi size 3. Has anyone ever used the Denise needles? What do you think of them? Thanks

Angela

here is what I pulled up with "denise interchangeable" in it.

Me... I prefer my Addis.

ETA: well I forgot to add anything in here, but I guess I can't link to the broad search... but if you go to the search function, and type in Denise interchangeable, and hit search, you will find some information there.

Angela,

Did you call NN about the Denise needles?

I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you decide to buy. IMO anything would be better than knitting another soaker body on DPs. :faint

I have a set of Denise needles, and they are really neat. The first day I used them, I picked a cord that was too short, and it was so easy to switch to knitting w/ the longer cord. I like having so many needles sizes available to me. The only thing I don't like doing w/ the Denise set is the Magic Loop method. I think a thinner cable is much more conducive to doing the Magic Loop successfully.

I think your right... but hopefully with the denise I won't be needing to do to magic loop. I am thinking of getting and Addi size 3 so I can do the magic loop for the waists of my soakers... then switch to denises for the body.

Thanks for info!

The denise has an add-on you can buy to mak a 16" circ. My Boye set only goes to a 20", which is annoying. Interchangeable is great!!
