I saw this stuff the other day and thought about what a pretty color it is. Would it dye clothing? :lol: I think I'm losing it :yawn 8) :banana :banana :pezfrog

:LOL - well, I have a sleeper that my dd was wearing 7+ years ago that is perma-stained. I had it on ds when he got the gentian violet treatment so that I wouldn't get more staining. :D

I used it with Andrew when we were fighting thrush. It washed out with no problems. I thought for sure everything was ruined, but I was wrong. Sorry there's no help here.

Gentian violet is an antifungal liquid that is useful for getting rid of resistant thrush. I used it when my son was little too. Nothing we had got stained permanently, but I've never tried it on wool. I am tempted to clip a bit of wool from a skein and dunk it in some gentian violet to see what happens.
