Not exactly a knitting problem, but it's keeping me from knitting!

I bought 3 strips of 5 buttons on Saturday to use on my ribby wrap. I recall putting 2 strips in my knitting bag for some reason that night. I've now attached 10 of the 12 and darn it, I can't find the other button strip!

We had company on Sunday, including 3 nieces and nephews who had fun rearranging all our belongings, then my son and I have been sick since then and the house has gotten even more chaotic.

Where oh where have my buttons gone?!?

I found them on the floor of the car, but not until after I'd bought new ones. I ended up making a newborn sized ribby with the same yarn and had to go back and get more of those buttons--I think I went to Joann's 3 times in a week for the same darn buttons. I did discover a store closer to home in the process, at least.

Now I need to go back and get more for my next ribby. It never ends.
