What are you making?

I adore the patterns in 'simple crochet for cherished babies'.

And what I love about crochet is that it's so much easier for me to just wing my own patterns, gotta love that aspect.

i learned to crochet way before i learned to knit. :) i haven't hooked in awhile. i've written a few patterns for hookers, but i have yet to test them out. :bag

I learned to crochet when I was a child. I've crocheted here and there over the past 30 something years. I also learned the basic garter stitch in knitting when I was a child...though it didn't stick like the hooking did.

I've done some re-organizing with my businesses and will soon have more time to crochet and finally learn to knit!! I'm a total fabric-holic and have now fallen in love with the wool yarns....boy am I in real trouble...:wowza

Oh! Oh! Me! Count me in too. I have been crocheting since I was a little girl. Like a previous poster said, it is my first love. I have spent many days (before kids, work and marriage) crocheting for 8+ hours at a time. *sigh* I miss those days sometimes.

I am learning to crochet. Tension is still wonky and I seem to hook fairly tightly. Guage on current project should be 7hdc - 2", but I have 8.5hdc -2". Oops.
