I went to DD site and looked at the pics of already made items and then went on to the WAHM site she has listed and boy oh boy am I drooling over the shorts and longies I saw!!! I frogged :pezfrog the soaker I had started since I learned my lesson to count stitches until I am good at crocheting.LOL Lesson learned and I am getting ready to start over, but I have been so sick- I think it was the flu or a terrible terrible cold:tsk So I am unoffically doing the knitting olympics with making a soaker. But I really want to try shorts and longies now that I have seen how beautiful they are! I'm going to this yarn store tomorrow to buy some yummy yarn: http://www.shuttlesspindlesandskeins.com/yarns.htm
Right now I am doing the soaker in fishermans as I don't want to mess up with a good/$$$ yarn. But man oh man those finished works of art I saw! I am so inspired and determined to make a ton of soakers, shorts and longies before the baby gets here in July!

Edited for spelling

DO YOU THINK SHORTS AND LONGIES ARE EASIER THAN A SOAKER ( like they say about knitting)???

I am babbling on and on in my happiness for crochet and wool!!! Sorry :banana

I do think the DD shorts and pants are easier because you don't have to worry about the decreases and counting the rows so much. Plus Patti has put all kinds of options at the end of the pattern for different cuff styles. You should totally buy the pattern if you haven't yet. I liked it so much, I got licensed. My one baby in diapers really doesn't need more than twenty pairs of crocheted pants. :nut :LOL

I'm near Lafayette/Boulder :)

There is "Knit one Purl too" in Longmont, on Francis St. Its a small shop but the ladies in there are super nice and they carry some yarns that Shuttles doesn't have...

In Louisville, the "Stitchen Den" (http://www.thestitchinden.com/), its a sister shop to the one in Estes Park. Also smaller than Shuttles

And then there is "Showers of Flowers" (http://www.showersofflowers.com/) that I haven't personally been to yet, but a friend has and she says its definatly worth the drive, I just hate to drive by myself somewhere I haven't been, weird I know... :shake
